Altera Cyclone V and Arria V SoC FPGAs integrate an ARM-based hard processor system and Altera’s 28-nm FPGA fabric. With a dual-core ARM processor, peripherals, and memory controllers, SoC FPGAs combine the performance, power savings, and robust software of the ARM ecosystem with the flexibility and scalability of programmable logic.

  • 2x 10/100/1000 Ethernet MAC, 2x USB 2.0 (OTG), 2x SPI, 2x I2C, 2x UART, 2x CAN, 134 GPIO
  • FPGA densities from 25 KLE to 460 KLE
  • Embedded transceivers in all devices (up to 10.3125 Gbps in largest devices)
  • PCI Express with multifunction support in all devices
  • Additional hard memory controllers in FPGA fabric
